It is possible to download Nintendo Wii games from the internet through your computer and then burn them into a blank DVD to play on your Wii. But you need a modchip for the games to work, some modchips cost as low as $20.

The best way to download Wi games is by using BitTorrent, an advanced and faster way of downloading large files. You need a separate program called a BitTorrent client such as uTorrent to download the files.

 

First, start by downloading uTorrent, you will use this to download the Wii games.

After you've finished downloading it, install it by double-clicking on the file. You should have a uTorrent shortcut on your desktop after this for easy access to the program.

The next step is looking on BitTorrent sites for Wii games. There are many BitTorrent sites out there but the ones I suggest you use is either mininova or Torrentz. Once you're on the website, just search for the Wii game you'd like to download on the search bar.

Then choose the torrent with the most seeders so that you'll get the fastest possible speed. After that just download the torrent file. Once you've downloaded the torrent file, open it using the BitTorrent client, uTorrent.

This is when you're download really begins and it may take a long time. Download speeds vary depending on your connection.

After you've finished downloading the game, you can extract it if its in RAR format using WinRAR, if its already in ISO format, then there is no need for this.

Once you have the ISO file, burn it into a DVD using ImgBurn. You should burn at the low speeds like 4x to ensure maximum compatibility with your Wii. You should also use a good DVD preferably branded ones like Verbatim.
